WILLS

Life is uncertain, but your estate plan implemented by a professionally written and affordable LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT can provide certainty to your loved ones. Property is only one consideration. Those with children can appoint guardians to raise minor chidren and trustees to manage their inheritance until they reach adulthood. Don't leave matters of importance to chance, plan ahead today. Prices begin at $250 and $375 for married couples.

POWER OF ATTORNEY

With a POWER OF ATTORNEY a trusted family member, friend, or colleague can manage your affairs in the event you are unable to do so. A power of attorney often referred to as a durable power of attorney grants someone the legal authority to act in any manner you delegate to them. The person is called your Attorney in Fact. They can lawfully act in your best interests and cannot act for their own personal gain. Powers of attorney begin at $200.

PROBATE OF ESTATES

When a loved one has passed away with or without a Last Will and Testament, a family member or other trusted individual may step forward as the Executor, Personal Representative, or Administrator of his or her Estate. A Will must be admitted to Probate Court in order to be recognized legally. In the absence of a Will, an estate can be administered. My office can help you from start to finish for a very reasonable fee.

GUARDIANSHIP AND CONSERVATORSHIP

Where someone can no longer take care of their personal needs, a guardianship may be the solution. A guardian can be appointed by the court to address the health and medical needs of an incapacitated person. Likewise, a conservator can be appointed by a court to manage the finances and property of an incapacitated person. I can represent you in probate court to seek your appointment as a guardian and/or conservator. Oftentimes, these two roles are pursued in one single court filing. My sister and I hired Brian D. Mann to represent our family before the Elmore County Probate Court. We found Brian D. Mann to be an effective, efficient, personable lawyer. His fee was reasonable. I recommend him without reservation to anyone needing a competent, caring attorney.
